Why is my label called Lefti Links?
To avoid confusion, it is generally recommended to teach children only one side. The other side will come naturally.
Since most children are right-handed (about one in ten is left-handed), the right hand is usually more integrated into everyday life. Being left-handed is still often considered unusual. Until relatively recently, left-handed children were even forced to become right-handed. This makes it all the more important, in my opinion, to give the left hand positive attention as well. Both hands should be perceived as equally valuable. There is no good or bad side. Left and right are distinctions that are important in certain aspects of life.
Like the Lefti Links logo and clothing, the name is also gender-neutral. I wanted to create a name that is internationally understandable. Lefti is derived from the English word for left.
What makes Lefti Links Mode special?
The Lefti Links label is always placed on the left side, helping children (and adults too) to better distinguish between left and right in everyday life. In this way, our fashion combines educational value with stylish design.
How do the products help with learning?
Lefti Links on the left sleeve serves as an easy-to-understand mnemonic for distinguishing right from left. Visible, tangible, and immediately usable in everyday life.
Does clothing really help with learning left and right?
Yes, that's the idea! By constantly orienting yourself to the Lefti Links logo (always placed on the left), your child will playfully and unconsciously learn where left is. This fosters a confident understanding of directions in everyday life and in traffic.
From what age are the products useful?
From at least 1.5 years of age, as soon as our children begin to venture out on their own. The distinction becomes particularly important for children aged 5 to 8. They become even more independent and need these terms for orientation – in traffic, when reading, writing, and arithmetic.
I designed a hoodie jacket for myself and all adults who sometimes confuse left and right (and take it with humor).
What products are available?
The current collection includes long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, hoodie jackets, sweatbands, a sports bag and 2 games for children – all in timeless, gender-neutral white.
We also offer a hoodie jacket for adults.
Is the clothing unisex?
Yes! Our entire collection is designed to be gender-neutral, so it can be worn by all children.
What sizes is the collection available in?
The children's clothing is available in various age sizes.

What material is the clothing made of?
Our products are made from certified organic cotton. We value sustainability, skin-friendliness, and high wearing comfort.
How can the products be washed?
The products are washable at 40°C. For best results, turn them inside out before washing to protect the colors and prints. They are not suitable for tumble drying and should be ironed inside out.
Care instructions for stains?
Children and white clothing? Not a good idea, you think?
An advantage of removing stains from white fabric: You can use gall soap or other stain removers without altering the fabric color. You don't need to test the clothing for colorfastness.
Use of gall soap:
1. Moisten the stain: First, moisten the affected area on the garment with cold water.
2. Rub in gall soap: Thoroughly rub the wet area with gall soap to treat the stain.
3. Leave to soak: Leave the soap on for about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the stubbornness of the stain.
4. Rinse: Rinse the treated area thoroughly or wash the garment in the washing machine as usual.
Vegan alternative: Use a plant-based bar soap.
Where are the products manufactured?
Our clothing is sustainably produced in a family-run factory in Turkey and crafted with attention to detail. You can find more information about its origin under "About me".
Why Türkiye?
The textile industry covers the entire spectrum, from cotton production to the manufacture of high-quality textiles. Turkey combines traditional craftsmanship with modern production methods and is known for its high-quality products.
How do you ensure that the clothing is produced sustainably and that working conditions are fair?
My producer and I place great importance on sustainability and fair working conditions. I have GOTS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificates.
To ensure these aspects are adhered to, I regularly travel to Turkey to personally visit the production facilities. During these visits, I can verify that all work processes meet the highest standards and that employees work under fair conditions.
Can I give the products as gifts?
Of course! Our collection is perfect as an educational gift for children – whether for a birthday, starting school, or just because.

We ship using Deutsche Post/DHL as our shipping provider.

How can I return an order?
We want you to be happy with your order. If this is not the case, you can return your order to us within fourteen days of receipt.

As we are a small start-up online shop, returns are unfortunately very expensive for us and for the environment. We therefore ask for your understanding that we cannot cover the costs of your return shipment. If you have any questions regarding your order, please feel free to contact us; we are happy to help!
Returned goods must be in perfect, undamaged condition, including all hangtags and labels. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all components, if possible. Do not send goods back freight collect.
